Jake has 20 years of bank operations experience in national, regional and community banks.  Jake is a skilled project manager having established a project management office for Southwest Bank of Texas (Amegy Bank) that oversaw IT operations and retail-related projects on a company-wide level. The office was charged with prioritization, resource identification, and implementation for all projects.  Prior to this, he was also responsible for a project management group that worked directly with the bank’s operations division and provided process improvement recommendations to various departments within the bank.

Most recently, Jake was the Vice President of Cash Vaults and National Director for two large armored car companies and implemented a Check 21 solution and a nationwide, outsourced virtual vault solution for banks and commercial customers.

In his role as Vice President of Electronic Funds Transfer Operations at Southwest Bank of Texas (Amegy Bank), Jake managed the Wire, ACH and Cash Vault departments.  As manager, he oversaw projects to convert the Bank’s Wire, ACH and Cash Vault systems.  As the Bank’s Treasury Management Product Manager, Jake managed the technical and implementation side of the Bank’s Treasury Management products. 

Prior to joining the Southwest Bank of Texas, Jake served as manager of a large regional bank’s ACH department.  He spent two years in the bank’s operations consulting department providing the operations departments’ project management assistance and leadership. Jake is a graduate of the University of Houston and a member of the Association of Financial Professionals since 1986.  He is also a Certified Treasury Professional.
